Buzz is Now in Your Gmail – Add Facebook Too!

I don’t know about you, but I’ve been going a little insane with all of the Google Buzz noise in my Gmail inbox. I don’t think I’ve gotten it below 100 new messages in quite some time. Well, now I have an opportunity for you to add in even more of that ’social noise’ to your inbox – by adding your Facebook News Feed, as well.

David Mulder has created a Google Chrome extension that adds Facebook into the left sidebar of Gmail, right under Google Buzz. The installation is quite simple – install the extension in your chrome browser, sign in via Facebook Connect, and you’ve got your Facebook News Feed right there with your Gmail inbox and Google Buzz. As an added bonus, you can also post status updates directly to Facebook through the extension as well.
